Meet Hannah
Hannah is a certified math and science teacher with over ten years of teaching and tutoring experience. Growing up, her favorite subject changed every year depending on her teachers, so she understands the significant impact that educators can have on a student’s academic journey. Her approach is to connect with students’ natural curiosity, their strengths, and their personal interests, so that their level of academic engagement and self-confidence increases. “I love tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to help others and share the joy of learning with them.”
Hannah has experience teaching math and science to grades 5-9 as well as tutoring high school students in SAT preparation and AP courses. She has provided academic coaching to high school and college students, supported multilingual learners in their academic coursework, tutored adult ESL, and led environmental education camp programs. Additionally, she has facilitated theater and poetry workshops, blending creative expression with learning. “My experience teaching such a wide range of subjects has helped me see the connections between them.”
