Meet Jenna
Jenna is an experienced English tutor and teacher with a rich background in teaching and supporting diverse groups of learners. Since the age of eight, she has lived in four countries: the Philippines, Malaysia, Canada, and now the United States. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Washington, specializing in Language, Literacy, and Culture (LLC). Jenna’s global experiences have not only made her fluent in several languages but have also given her the ability to empathize with people from various ethnicities.
Continuing her teaching journey in the United States, Jenna has been a lead virtual and in-person instructor for several years. She has provided personalized 1-on-1 support to diverse K-12 students. With young elementary students, she focuses on improving general literacy skills and SSAT sections (both verbal and math). For middle and high school students, she offers academic tutoring along with SAT prep (verbal) and AP subjects. With a strong foundation in language instruction and a commitment to student empowerment, Jenna is excited to bring her expertise to diverse students and assist them in excelling in English language acquisition and communication.
Qualifications:

- M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Washington
- B.A in International Studies from Kyung Hee University
