Meet Rosaline

Rosaline specializes in computer science, English literature, and math, drawing on a double major from Wellesley College and six years of professional software development experience. Warm, patient, and curious, she has a gift for making complex ideas understandable. She tailors explanations to each student’s interests and needs, creating space for questions, mistakes, and independent thinking.

Her educational experience includes tutoring K–12 students in math, reading, and writing through Seattle Public Library’s Homework Helpers, designing and teaching computer science and robotics workshops for elementary-aged girls, and leading workshops connecting computing with science and society for high school students. She also founded a community creative writing group, helping writers strengthen their work through thoughtful feedback and collaborative discussion.

Drawing on her own experience navigating academia with neurodivergence, Rosaline understands that learning involves more than mastering material. She considers organization, time management, and emotional demands alongside academic skills. Her goal is to help students build confidence, develop practical strategies, and stay curious when learning feels challenging.

Outside of tutoring, Rosaline enjoys building ecological aquariums, writing a Greco-Roman-inspired epic fantasy novel, lock picking, and indoor rock climbing.
