Meet Blake
Blake has been an elementary educator since 2021, teaching summer programs for grades 1–5 and spending multiple years in both 3rd and 5th grade classrooms. His work is centered on building strong, authentic connections with students and families. He believes meaningful learning begins with trust: “Students learn best when they have positive relationships with teachers that are built on trust and mutual respect.”
Blake also brings a creative lens to his teaching, shaped by his background in filmmaking and screenwriting. He weaves choice, creativity, and hands-on projects into his lessons so students can express themselves while demonstrating mastery of key concepts. “Students are more motivated and engaged when they have a choice in how they show their knowledge.”
With a focus on patience, creativity, and student-centered instruction, Blake creates a learning environment where students feel supported, confident, and excited to grow.
