Meet Katie
Katie has a spirit of adventure and a love of learning. Having traveled to 11 countries and taught a range of subjects—from French to rock climbing—she brings diverse teaching techniques tailored to each student’s unique needs. She empowers learners by building on their existing strengths and helping them develop new tools to thrive.
Katie enjoys making math practical and accessible by identifying patterns and drawing connections between seemingly unrelated topics. “I’m excited to guide students to new connections and revelations in their education.” With a degree in Psychology, she creates a supportive learning environment that reduces stress, improves memory and focus, and fosters confidence in challenging subjects. “In both learning and teaching, it’s all about setting ourselves up for success!”
Katie’s unique combination of academic expertise, life experience, and a passion for discovery enables her to inspire students to find joy and confidence in their educational journey.
