Supporting Students

Meet Khadijatou

Khadijatou’s passion for education stems from her belief that every student can thrive with the right support. Through roles as a peer mentor, tutor, and Teaching Assistant, she developed a student-centered approach that emphasizes building confidence alongside subject mastery. Working with students experiencing academic anxiety has reinforced the importance of creating a supportive environment where mistakes are viewed as learning opportunities. “I believe the best learning happens when students feel seen, supported, and empowered to take intellectual risks.”

With over two years of teaching and tutoring experience, Khadijatou has worked with middle and high school students in both one-on-one and small group settings. As a Teaching Assistant at NYU, she led recitations and provided targeted feedback, helping students strengthen their problem-solving and computational thinking skills—tools she believes serve them well in any subject.

Khadijatou specializes in tutoring math from middle school through high school, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Probability and Statistics, as well as Computer Science.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading novels (genre-agnostic), baking, and making tea. She brings calm, supportive energy to every tutoring session.
