Meet Siobhán
Siobhán (pronounced “sha-von”) is a lifelong learner who brings that same sense of curiosity and dedication to her tutoring. With a calming presence, patience, and genuine enthusiasm, she makes learning approachable, creative, and fun—whether in math, science, reading, or art. She began tutoring middle school algebra students while completing her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Dayton, later earning a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
Over the years, she has supported students across K–12 through roles such as Homework Helper and, more recently, worked with high school and college students in calculus and executive function skills like class registration and agenda management. She also served as a Lead Instructor at Camp Galileo (grades 1–8), where she helped students build confidence in STEAM subjects and embrace their creativity.
Outside of STEM, Siobhán is also an artist and has taught acrylic painting lessons and hosted “paint parties” for students as young as five through adult corporate teams. Across all her work, she creates peaceful, engaging environments that foster both learning and creativity.
