Meet Kezha

Kezha is a passionate educator with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from UC San Diego and a diverse background spanning STEM instruction, aquatics, outdoor education, and youth mentorship. Known for her upbeat personality and natural ability to connect with students, she brings both academic expertise and a genuine enthusiasm for helping young people build confidence and independence.

During her time at UC San Diego, Kezha led instructional sessions in chemistry and biology, helping students strengthen both their understanding of scientific concepts and the study skills needed to succeed in challenging courses. She also became a certified American Red Cross Instructor, helping launch UC San Diego’s CPR instruction program and teaching life-saving skills to students from a wide range of backgrounds. Beyond the classroom, Kezha has taught swim lessons, coached youth sports, worked with neurodivergent learners, and spent three summers guiding youth through hands-on outdoor education experiences in the Sierra Nevada mountains. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish.

At the heart of Kezha’s teaching philosophy is a commitment to building confidence and curiosity in her students. “I love watching a student gain excitement as they start to understand a topic.” With a strong STEM foundation and years of experience working with young people, Kezha helps students approach challenges with confidence while developing the skills they need to become independent learners.

In her free time, Kezha enjoys playing guitar, playing ultimate frisbee, and exploring the outdoors.
