Meet Juli
Juli has more than sixteen years of experience working with students in the U.S., Chile, Ecuador, and India. Her work has focused on language, literacy, and subject support for students whose first language is not English, equipping her to address diverse learning needs, from foundational math and reading skills to advanced comprehension and critical thinking.
Juli’s approach starts with relationships. By getting to know each student, she builds trust and tailors instruction to their strengths and interests. This creates space for students to take risks, work through challenges, and build confidence. Drawing on her experience teaching emergent learners, she breaks complex concepts into manageable steps and gradually guides students toward greater independence.
Juli supports students across a range of subjects, with particular expertise in reading and writing, foundational literacy, Spanish, and English language arts. She brings a patient, encouraging approach that helps students strengthen their skills and recognize their abilities.
