Meet Sophie
Sophie Wolfman is an educator and tutor who has been supporting students in educational settings since 2022. She is passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and develop a positive relationship with learning. Throughout her career, she has worked with students across PreK–12 classrooms, including English Language Learners (ELLs), students receiving special education services, and students who benefit from individualized academic support.
Sophie’s experience includes elementary education, language development support, small-group instruction, one-on-one academic assistance, and substitute teaching across a wide variety of grade levels and subjects. Known for her warm, adaptable approach, Sophie quickly builds rapport with students while maintaining high expectations for both learning and personal growth. Colleagues consistently describe her as professional, reliable, and skilled at creating supportive learning environments where students feel seen, heard, and comfortable taking academic risks.
“I believe every student can succeed when they receive the right support and encouragement,” Sophie says. “My goal is to help students build both the skills and confidence they need to become independent learners.”
